Vivapay is a payment platform that offers extra values and incentives while enabling you to carry out the following transactions seamlessly.

We provide a system that allows you to carry out the following transactions seamlessly:

• Remit money from overseas to any Nigerian bank account at very good exchange rate.
• Save with Viva piggybank.
• Participate in Viva Esusu.
• Have your own virtual credit card.
• Redeem gift cards.
• Pay for utilities.

This app allows users to:


Transfer money between your accounts (Vivapay wallets) in different currencies. E.g. Dollar to Naira and vice versa.

Transfer money to Nigerian bank accounts.

Transfer money to another Vivapay wallet.

Transfer money to a Nigerian beneficiary using his or her phone number.

Buy airtime and data for any Nigerian network.

Pay for utilities like electricity and cable TV subscriptions.

1. Download the app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
2. Open the app and click on the "Continue" button.
3. Click on “I don’t have a Vivapay account”
4. Submit and verify your email; this is your user id on the app
5. Fill in your details, including your full name, date of birth, phone number, a secure password and your country. This information will be verified later.
6. Accept the app terms of use and privacy policy
7. Click on “register” button to complete your registration.

1. Open the app and click on the 'Continue' button.
2. Click on “I have a Vivapay account”
3. Enter your registered email and password.
4. Click 'Login' to access your account.

1. On the login page, click 'Reset Password'.
2. Enter your registered email to receive a password reset link or code.
3. Follow the instructions to set up a new password.

Verification ensures secure transactions and in compliance with regulatory requirements. It helps protect your account and guarantees smooth operation of all features.

1. From your dashboard, click on the menu icon (the three parallel lines at the top).
.2 Click on Profile.
3. Click on Verify Account.
4. Provide the necessary documents and take a selfie for identity confirmation.
4. Submit your details. Your verification status will be updated within 24–48 hours.

If verification fails, you’ll receive an email or in-app notification explaining the reason. Correct the issue and resubmit your documents.

1. Open the app and login.
2. From the dashboard click on Fund.
3. Select the account you want to fund.
4. Select payment method and follow the instructions to make payment.

This feature is for users that have multiple currency accounts on our platform. For example, a user that have a Naira and Canadian dollar account can transfer money between the accounts and the system automatically converts source to its destination equivalence using our exchange rate. The steps are as follow:

1. Open the app and login.
2. From the dashboard click on Transfer.
3. Click on Transfer to self.
4. Select account to source account i.e. account to debit.
5. Select account to destination account i.e. account to credit.
6. Enter amount to transfer.
7. Confirm the details and complete the payment.

3. Click on Transfer to a Vivapay account.
4. Select account to debit.
5. Enter the recipient email address.
6. Enter amount to transfer.
7. Enter narration.
8. Confirm the details and complete the payment.

Please note that the beneficiary must have an account in the currency you selected. If they do not, the transfer will not be processed.

Our system enables you to transfer money seamlessly from any of your accounts to a Nigerian bank account. If you do not select your Naira account, the system will automatically convert the amount to its Naira equivalent using our current exchange rate.

The steps below highlight how to do transfer to a Nigerian bank account.
1. Open the app and login.
2. From the dashboard click on Transfer.
3. Click on Transfer to a Nigerian Bank account.
4. Select account to debit.
5. Select the recipient's bank.
6. Enter the account number.
7. Select the transfer type (instant or delayed).
8. If delayed is selected, select the delay duration.
9. Enter amount to transfer
10.Enter narration
11.Confirm the details and complete the payment.

Kindly note if you select delayed for transfer type, you can cancel the transfer before the delayed period elapses, and your account will be refunded.

2. From the dashboard click on Transfer.
3. Click on pending transfer to a Nigerian Bank account.
4. Click on the transfer you want to cancel.

Our system also enables you to transfer money seamlessly from any of your accounts to a Nigerian phone number; an instruction how to claim fund will be sent to recipient. If you do not select your Naira account, the system will automatically convert the amount to its Naira equivalent using our current exchange rate. The steps below highlight how to do transfer to a Nigerian bank account.

1. Open the app and login.
2. From the dashboard click on Transfer.
3. Click on Transfer to a Nigerian phone number.
4. Select account to debit.
5. Enter the phone number.
6. Enter amount to transfer.
7. Enter narration.
8. Confirm the details and complete the transfer.

Kindly note if you can reverse the transfer before the recipient claim fund (the system gives a window of 10 minutes before sending instruction to recipient).

3. Click on pending transfer to a Nigerian phone number.
4. Click on the transfer you want to cancel.

5. Click on verify.
6. Select your bank.
7. Enter your account number.
8. Confirm the details and complete the transaction.

Our system allows you to buy airtime from any of your accounts. If you do not select your Naira account, the system will automatically convert the amount to its Naira equivalent using our current exchange rate. Kindly follow steps below:

1. Login to your dashboard.
2. Click on Airtime.
3. Select your network provider and enter the phone number.
4. Choose the amount.
5. Confirm and make the payment.

Our system allows you to buy internet data from any of your accounts. If you do not select your Naira account, the system will automatically convert the amount to its Naira equivalent using our current exchange rate. Kindly follow steps below:

1. Login to your dashboard.
2. Click on Data.
3. Select your network provider.
4. Select data plan.
5. Enter the phone number.
6. Choose the amount.
7. Confirm and make the payment.

You can buy electricity from any of your accounts. If you do not select your Naira account, the system will automatically convert the amount to its Naira equivalent using our current exchange rate. Kindly follow steps below:

1. Login to your dashboard.
2. Click on the Electricity.
3. Select the biller.
4. Select meter type.
5. Enter the meter ID.
6. Confirm the amount and make the payment.

You can seamlessly pay for cable tv subscription using any of your accounts. If you do not select your Naira account, the system will automatically convert the amount to its Naira equivalent using our current exchange rate. Kindly follow steps below:

1. Login to your dashboard.
2. Click on the Tv.
3. Select the Cable tv provider.
4. Enter the unique customer id.
5. Select subscription plan.
6. Confirm the amount and make the payment.
